1. Program Manager

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly proactive and organized leader to oversee the day-to-day execution of Kuza Africa’s programs. You’ll play a central role in operations, partnerships, funding strategy, and internal systems building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Kuza Africa’s daily operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with accelerators, funders, and development agencies.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and develop pitch materials.
  • Support the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of all active programs.
  • Build systems for effective project execution and future scale.

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Development Studies, Creative Arts, Fashion Design, or related fields.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for Africa’s creative industry and social innovation.
  • Possesses excellent writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Has a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of outcomes.

2. Community Manager

📍 Location: Kigali, Rwanda

About the Role
This role is for a connector—someone who loves people, ideas, and digital communication. You will grow and manage our community of creatives and entrepreneurs while ensuring meaningful engagement both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow our vibrant community.
  • Share relevant opportunities and resources with members.
  • Lead outreach campaigns to attract new members and collaborators.
  • Handle our social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp groups).
  • Create engaging content: posts, stories, newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Organize masterclasses, info sessions, and networking events.
  • Work closely with the Program Manager to align on events and impact delivery.

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Passionate about the creative economy, youth development, and community building.
  • Skilled in digital tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.
  • Experience managing social media and/or community platforms.
  • Enthusiastic about storytelling, digital trends, and African youth empowerment.
